WHIcares.org strives to provide free holistic healthcare services to heal those in need around the world.
Worldwide Healthcare Initiative is a humanitarian collective of hands-on healthcare professionals who provide a range of specialized healthcare services such as acupuncture and therapeutic massage, as well as chiropractic, naturopathic or biomedical approaches, to underserved communities around the world. Through giving back, we fulfill our lifetime mission and devotion of enhancing health and wellness in humankind.
Our volunteer initiative was founded to fulfill the calling of renowned acupuncturist Dr. Eileen Han, who was influenced by her late mentor, master, and creator of the Balance Method of acupuncture, Dr. Richard Tan. Eileen donates her time and energies to this nonprofit organization and invites you to join us in this proactive effort to bring health to as many people as possible.

Whether you're 3rd to 4th year acupuncture or biomedical student, a licensed practitioner looking to expand your personal or professional horizons within the field of global health, or a professional looking to engage in humanitarian healthcare activism, this may be the opportunity of a lifetime.
All members of our dynamic group of like-minded healers are responsible for funding their trips to each location. Recommendations for logistics and accommodations will be provided by the WHI staff.

Sat, Feb 08WHI will be back helping and treating communities in Costa Rica with acupuncture, including veterinary acupuncture for animals such as horses and dogs. February 8-15, 2020
Tue, Nov 19In collaboration with charitable partners Dr. Wen Shu Teng from Humanity Medical Mission, and the Madagascar School Project, WHI is continuing to provide acupuncture to underserved locals just outside of the capital city of Antananarivo. November 19 - 29, 2019
Mon, Feb 17WHI and Humanity Medical Mission will lead a medical camp in Jaipur, India during the Dalai Lama's Holiness International Conference Speech.
